Granddaddy and CC came to visit Saturday. It was nice to have them over for the day, and they thought it quite convenient to leave Jackson around 10 a.m. and get home by 9 p.m. Chip called today to say that he kept seeing "that face" ... while he was holding Eden he felt as if he was holding Ashley again. Chip and Christy both agreed it was weird, saying "It felt like I was holding you again, but then I looked up and there's 'Ashley' sitting across the room." I'm sure it felt like it was just yesterday that he held his first daughter in his arms.
Of course, that was 30 years ago ... but judging by these pictures, you can see why he'd feel that way.
