Eden cleans up ...

The day before Easter, Eden was introduced to the water. This was her first "out-of-hospital" bath ... and her parents' first attempt at bathing a newborn. Yes, her first bath took both her mom and dad - to make sure she was still enough to bathe and to calm her down (as much as that was possible - see video).

Here is the table, all prepared and ready for Eden's first bath. We have the bathing station (rear) and the drying station (front).

Apparently, a "finger offering" is appeasing...

That is, until dad commensed a back scrubbing...
Throughout the ordeal, we made sure to tell her we loved her and that baths are good.
We think she understood.

After the bath, we wrapped her in her duck outfit...

...which she eventually fell in love with.

Her first bath was caught on camera, for posterity - we hope that she comes to love bath time, or at least will appreciate cleanliness!
