Pumpkin time.

University Methodist Church is on our way from home to campus. A few weeks ago their sign read "The Pumpkins are coming." Then, a few days later, there were hundreds of pumpkins in front of the church.

The annual UMC Pumpkin Patch raises money for different ministries of the church. Ashley and I are suckers for a good cause ... plus, who can resist a picture of Eden with pumpkins?

After several minutes of careful deliberation, she chose this one:

It sits prominently on our front porch. It's our only Halloween decoration (Maren would be ashamed to call us her friends.) Once we got it we looked around the neighborhood. There weren't very many people with pumpkins. Hope that doesn't mean we'll wake up one night to smashing pumpkins.

We also have pictures of Eden with her new pumpkin bib and in her first Halloween costume ... the suspense is already killing some of you ... Muuhahahahhha ... Happy Halloween!

Here's the sweet pic of Eden in her new bib this morning.
I couldn't wait. Eden says, thank you Nona.

I would never be ashamed to call you friends! (Unless you had no pumpkins, that is...)
