She impressed everyone by eating some avacados (her second food).
The next weekend (starting Friday, September 26), Uncle Britton and Aunt Courtney did the drive from Oxford. When they arrived, we talked about the looming LSU vs. Mississippi State football game on Saturday night - what they wanted to do before the game, etc. Both commented that they felt more like they had come to visit Eden than they had come to watch a football game. Eden FELT honored.
On Saturday, we spent the morning lounging around ...

... hanging out in our new rocking chairs on the front porch since the weather was fall-like ... ... and taking a walk around the neighborhood.

We also watched Ole Miss upset Florida ... but don't remind Courtney unless you want her to glow with pride.
Eden took a short nap in the morning and one more while we walked around the neighborhood (see above), but for the most part did not want to sleep while her Aunt Courtney and Uncle Britton were around. Guess she didn't want to miss any of the fun. Ashley reports that after Britton, Courtney, and I went to the football game, Eden slept like this ...
... for 2 and 1/2 hours! Ashley held her and moved her and fed her, but she was not waking up. Then, she was up for an hour and back to bed at 8 like it was a normal night. Guess we really do have a social butterfly on our hands. Why sleep when there's fun stuff going on?! Sleep can wait.
On Sunday, before Courtney and Britton left, we went to lunch. Now this is the second time Uncle Britton has come to visit Eden, and it is Eden's second visit to a Mexican restaurant ... coincidence?

Overall, this was a great set of weekends ... being closer to family is certainly paying off!

Are you sure you didn't move to California? I love that avocados were her second food!
