Uncle Britton and Aunt Courtney!

Eden was SO excited about her visit with Britton and Courtney, who flew up from Memphis for the weekend (April 18-21). During their visit, Eden experienced many firsts.

There was the first time she met Uncle Britton & Aunt Courtney ...

All that excitement took a toll on her!
It also took a toll on the proud Aunt and Uncle ... this was the scene around our place after we took a tour of the Greater Lafayette area (including Purdue) on Saturday. Eden was exhausted and so were her aunt and uncle. Guess life is slower in the South!?!
Then there was the first afternoon-nap on Uncle Britton's chest ...

Yes, he was afraid to move ...

After their nap, we enjoyed a good dinner ... we had roasted pork loin with a red-wine sauce topped with sundried tomato and goat cheese spread, salmon-filled twice baked potatoes, tomato-mozzarella salad, and roasted red bell pepper asparagus with parmesan cheese. We were supposed to have ice cream and chocolate chip cookies for dessert but everyone was too full.

Apparently, so was Eden - dinner was topped off with her first volcano-style spit-up on Daddy ... mmmmmmmm ... Hey, maybe that's why nobody opted for dessert ...

For those of you who know Britton, it won't surprise you that Eden's first restaurant experience was Mexican ... she enjoyed it quite a bit!

Well, we assume she enjoyed it since she slept through the whole experience. It felt like eating with a really cute ticking time bomb sitting beside us - guess we should get used to it.

On Sunday afternoon, Eden also went to her first picnic ...
