CC and Granddaddy!

Eden has been reading the recent posts about all of her family visitors. She looked confused so I asked her what was wrong. "I don't see a post about my Granddaddy. He came and visited me, too! Where are his pictures?" Yes, she is quite advanced for her age.

From March 15 until March 21 we were blessed to have Eden's Granddaddy with us. If there were a contest for the "most excited person" regarding Eden's birth, her Granddaddy would give everyone a good run for their money for first place.

When we told him we were pregnant, he couldn't wait to brag to others. When he was finally able to do so (we waited to tell non-family members until after the first trimester), everyone he told spoke about how much his eyes lit up and his smile wouldn't go away while talking about his first grandchild. He did tell one person before the embargo was lifted since he couldn't help himself. He said it was ok because it was a store clerk and she didn't know who he was. Indeed, Granddaddy is a very proud granddaddy.

When he wasn't holding her, his eyes never strayed ... to get him to look at us while we spoke, we had to have Eden leave the room!
