What was THAT!?!

It's 5:00 a.m. You've finally managed to fall asleep after a 2:30 a.m. bottle feeding on your "early morning Eden shift." Then, at 5:30 a.m., your house begins to shake. You live in the Midwest. The windows are rattling, your body is jolting, and your newborn begins to grunt. "What in the world?", you ask yourself. You peak outside to see if there is some early morning construction (they have been doing work on our street for the past week). Nope. Did a gas line burst? Did a Meth lab blow up? It couldn't be ... an earthquake? ... in the Midwest!?! NO WAY!

YES WAY!

That's right! We experienced tremors from an earthquake that struck 200 miles from our house!

We also felt an aftershock around 10:30!!! This was our first earthquake ... how wild!

We felt it here in TN too. It woke me up, but I thought it was just Syler doing his morning ritual of bouncing his legs up and down on his mattress (his crib is right above our bedroom)! Then, we saw the news! That is crazy! Glad your ok!
