Maura & John

On Sunday, April 6, we were blessed with a visit from our close friends Maura and John. I first met John at graduate school orientation ... the first day, when we were dismissed for lunch, there were 4 people who stayed behind having packed a lunch - me, Elizabeth Munz, Lance Madsen, and John Duckworth. We were instant friends!

Throughout John's first year-and-a-half at Purdue, we all spent nearly every weekend eating grilled cheese sandwiches, making ice cream, playing Settlers of Catan, and just enjoying great conversation. It was interesting that John was the only single one out of all us married folk ... then he met Maura. She incorporated quite well with our group ... they've since married and moved to Chicago. We are very happy for them, and very happy that they make time in their busy schedules for us!

Eden was also excited that she finally got to meet them! So excited, in fact, that she let her excitement get the best of her.
