One way to monitor is, of course, by using a baby monitor. We have one. But ours only contains the audio-feed from Eden's crib-side. For the whole pictures, you need the visual.
Perhaps this is only for the firstborn, but it sure is fun to stare for several minutes or hours as Eden sleeps. Neither Ashley nor I can get enough ... we sneak into the room and hover over the co-sleeper in hopes of catching a mid-sleep face or the act of waking up.


We should note that this is not JUST a hobby of parents. We caught two grandmothers, an aunt, and a grandfather doing this as well. The camera was not readily available for those acts of staring. And, they were Eden's relatives so we did not panic.
