from Indiana to Baton Rouge to Jackson to San Diego

Well, it has certainly been a busy week.

After returning from Purdue late Tuesday night, I finally got to see my little girl awake the next morning and saw Graham later in the day (he left for work before I got up). I spent the morning frantically trying to pack all our bags for our next trip and getting prepared for class by 12:30. Taught two classes while Graham picked up Eden from PDO and packed the car, and then by 4 after I taught we were on our way to Jackson.

Spent the night in Jackson, where Eden's grandparents got to ooh and aah over her every move (seriously). Repacked our bags for the flight the next morning. Woke up Thursday and loved on Eden some more (still felt like I missed her from the first trip of the week to Purdue). Packed up the car. Said goodbye to Eden and Momma and Daddy, and headed to the airport with Graham.

So, for the next few days, Graham and I are attending and presenting papers at the National Communication Association in San Diego. Yes, it's nice to be in Californian and nice to be able to tell everyone I'm actually finished with the Ph.D., but if I'd had my choice I definitely would not have planned my two major trips for the semester (and more importantly, Eden's first time staying with someone other than me or Graham) in the same week.

Anyhow, we've got some posts set to go up automatically for the next few days to catch up on some pics and stuff from the past few weeks. To start things out, here are some cute pics of a 4-generation span I took a few weekends ago when Eden and I visited her CC and Granddaddy in Jackson. It was a short trip -- went up on Saturday and came back while Eden napped (the WHOLE time!!) on Sunday. Have I mentioned I like living in Baton Rouge??

More posts to come. Hope you all enjoy the rest of the week!
