Then it all changed!
There are few things more wonderful and exciting than the birth of a child. Well, that's what they tell you...but you don't really know how true that is until you have one of your own. So, we did.
At 2:55 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008 Eden Brooks Bodie was born. She weighed an impressive 4 lbs., 15 oz. and was 18 inches in length. Not bad for someone who decided to come 4 weeks early.
Although 10 out of 10 parents would agree that their baby is "the cutest," we have proof of our assertion. Please enjoy these pictures for now...surely there are more to come of our beautiful baby girl!

Welcome to our world, Eden! Mazel tov to the proud parents. You've been given an extra 4 weeks to enjoy her. Eden is so alert...bright-eyed and bushy-tailed...I'll bet she's already communicating! Some of that nonverbal stuff, no doubt. Be well, and get enough sleep. Enjoy every moment of this very special time in your lives.

Oh my gosh, congratulations. For some reason I didn't get the email, and Jake just told me about this wonderful news. She is GORGEOUS and her name is BEAUTIFUL. I cannot wait to meet Eden Brooks very soon.
