Eden Comes Home!

Hi guys...as you might imagine, we've had our hands full feeding, calming, changing, rocking, and enjoying our miracle. As the first in a series of posts commemorating Eden's first week of freedom (should we lobby for this week to be a national holiday?), enjoy these pictures and two videos of her time at the hospital and trip home. God Bless, GB

Eden and Dr. Debra Madura (she's Ashley's OB and delivered our little miracle)

As soon as Eden was born, Ashley's mom had a package overnighted. Inside that package were several wardrobe choices including the gown Ashley wore home in 1978! Eden decided that wearing that gown would be very special to her mom, so she chose it as part of her going home outfit.

Complementing her gown were a matching hat, sweater, and booties. So VERY precious!

And her head does not QUITE fill out the infant carseat headrest ... soon enough little girl.

Of course no going home ensemble is complete without a blankie and stuffed animal. This wonderfully soft blanket and sheep come from my mom. Just to put her size in perspective, the sheep is 7 inches long and 3 inches wide!

Finally home!!!! Eden was quite excited and approved of her new living arrangement ...

And finally, enjoy this video that summarizes our going home day quite nicely.

Oh she is just so cute! I love the chronicle of her first few days. It was wonderful. When can I come visit?
