a party and the park

Okay, so this should have gone up a few weeks. Sue us.

Every year one of our faculty members hosts the annual pre-school-starting-get-together. This year we were invited to the set of Gone With the Wind. Pretty cool, huh?

Really it is the home of Trish Suchy and Gary Hart, who live just over the river from dowtown Baton Rouge. They have a wonderful house and wonderful land. Eden especially loved the spacious yard.

I'm not sure when we went to the park, but we did (apparently) just after the party (hence the post title).
Lately, Eden often shows her excitement for seeing you by giving a huge, all-face grin ...

... pretty amazing when it's focused in your direction.
While I don't remember the exact day we went, I do remember introducing Eden to the water feature. There is a button you press to start it. Different spouts direct water to shoot up at different times. Although she enjoyed looking at it, she was wary to get too close.
