For work, Ashley and I filled out an interview schedule as the new folks to be put in the next LA Speaks, our departmental newsletter. We thought it would be fun to see what Eden's answers would be to those same questions. Here they are:
I know that our readers are anxious to know your views on this place after your first year here at LSU. What idea excites you most at the present time?
What really excites me is waking up and seeing my mom or dad; it's really fun to see them both! My dad tells me I should be excited about the Auburn-LSU football game, but I'm really excited because it will have a ball in it.
What amenities does the local Baton Rouge scene possess and what does it lack?
Baton Rouge has an excellent dog park that is right down the street from my house. It also has tasty dirt and leaves. I would like more snow.
What do you like most about your job and what are its greatest challenges?
Right now my job is to eat, sleep, and play. I think that sleeping is the greatest challenge. Sometimes I don't want to.
What are the ten things you feel you cannot live without?
Momma and Daddy
Grandparents to visit me
Oatmeal
Tennis balls & my stroller
Books
Dried peas
Fruit
Bathtime
Diaper cream
Smiling
What projects do you have in mind for the next five years?
I look forward to talking in sentences and learning to go to the potty. I am also rather excited about learning to read by myself. I think my mom has some art projects in line for me, and those will probably be fun, too.
