Graduation Weekend

On Thursday, July 31, my parents and youngest sister, Sarah, came to Lafayette for my Ph.D. graduation. That night, we went to dinner at Scotty's. Eden was mesmerized by nearly everything.

On Friday, we cleaned out our offices at Purdue and then my Dad, Eden and I sat around the house enjoying each other's company while the girls went shopping. Then, that night, we headed downtown for the Gallery Walk. The Gallery Walk is a production of the Tippecanoe Arts Federation and the Indiana Arts Commission. Several art galleries and other stores in the downtown Lafayette area remain open late Friday night with appetizers and wine.

After an hour, it was time to meet Joshua, Elizabeth, and Sydney Munz for dinner. Eden and Sydney had to catch up on all they had done since the last time they spoke, you know since they can't use the phone yet.

It was a great time. We ate in shifts and entertained the little ones until bedtime. How life changes in the blink of an eye! It seems like yesterday that we met.
