Yesterday at 8:32 a.m., two employees of Plane Moving and Storage arrived with over a hundred boxes, several dozen rolls of packing tape, and a few bundles of packing paper. It was an interesting experience. We've always packed and moved ourselves; having someone do the packing while we watched after Eden and caught up on Sportscenter was a treat!
The first room they packed was our office. Perhaps because of our career choice, that was the room that required the most boxes. Eden was shocked at how high they went!
Later today, the movers will arrive and load things up. Then, we're on our way for another big trip south. Over the next week and a half, we'll be making the trip to Baton Rouge. On the way, we'll be stopping in Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee; Olive Branch, Oxford, and Jackson, Mississippi; and finally in Baton Rouge sometime next week. We'll also be spending the weekend at my brother-in-law's wedding.
It will be a busy week, but we'll have lots to report once we're back online. In the meantime, we've scheduled some posts from our last week in Lafayette. Hope you enjoy. See y'all next week!
