On Tuesday, May 13, Eden was 2 months old. We celebrated with a doctor's appointment and were surprised that she weighed 9 lbs. 10 oz ... nope, you did not read that wrong! She has gained 5 lbs. since leaving the hospital!!!
Many milestones have occured since we last visited the pediatrician. We'll share a sample of them here.
First, she can now hold her head up - at least for a little while and at least when she is looking at someone she loves ... (or someone who makes funny faces at her anyway).

She can also scream really loudly ... so loudly, in fact, that it hurts our ears if she gets too close.
She can wear newborn clothes (well, some of them) and not just preemies; in fact, we're all done with her preemie outfits (e.g., see here).
She's also smiling quite a bit and almost responding with smiles. She especially likes her changing pad as well as 3 AM - for some reason she wants to play after her early morning bottle - which is fine with Dad because I like to make funny faces as much as possible (and Ashley enjoys being able to sleep while Eden and I play at 3 in the morning).
Just in the past few days, she has begun to coo and "talk" -- she's no longer limited to silence and crying (which, remember, is very loud now). She especially likes to talk while we change her diaper.
She has DEFINITELY gained some baby fat -- her little skinny arms and legs no longer have folds where the fat should be. They're all filled out.

(Eden on March 29 - @ 2 weeks old)
For some reason, she loves riding in her stroller, especially over the bumpy sidewalks. You'd think she'd wake up given how bumpy Lafayette sidwalks can be ... but, nope, she only wakes up when we get home and stop strolling.
She LOVES sleeping on someone's chest - her favorite position is snuggling in with her arms by her side or face.

She loves being on her own "schedule" - sometimes this means "drinking" every 3 hours, or every hour with a break. Sometimes, she'll give us a four-hour stretch at night when we're lucky.

In all, she sure has grown up over this past month - and we are enjoying her progress. What won't be so fun is getting her shots in a week - yuck! Hopefully y'all have enjoyed keeping up with her and will continue to do so!
God Bless, GB (and Ashley)
