Around 8:30 a.m., given the beautiful day and $4-a-gallon gas, I strolled Eden the mile and a half to Hurtville. Ashley and I decided that I could better handle the screaming and she could adequately handle the consoling afterward ... good team. It certainly was not the most fun I've had as a Dad so far. Had to tell her I was sorry.
A reenactment of what she looked like when the nurse came toward her with that long needle ... we think she's going to be a good actress :)
"What is that?"
"I have a question ... is this going to hurt?"
The Nurse: "It will hurt you more than it will hurt me."
Eden: "Uuuhhhh, then get that thing away from me lady!"
Dad: "Yeah, well it'll hurt me more than it'll hurt her!"

Oooh... immunizations are the worst. I can't say it ever gets any easier! (The worst is having to hold them still. My kids always look at me like I'm a traitor!)
