On July 5th, we joined Elizabeth Munz in celebrating her 29th birthday. It was our first birthday decathlon. The events included washers, cornhole, ladder-ball, bocci ball, onesie decorating, and much more. There was beer. There was sunshine. And, most of all, there was fun had by all.
Eden was especially good at the sleeping event.
And Ashley was especially good at the rock-the-baby-while-she-sleeps event.

Apparently, Joshua's balance was helped by having Sydney perched on his chest. He did not fall over once the whole day!

When she finished the sleeping leg of the decathlon, Eden was quite good at the "You can now take me out of this thing and hold me" event.
Rebecca must have told Eden something really funny when the next photo was taken.
And for those of you questioning my artistic abilities, I did try my hand at onesie decorating.
The three-legged race was more fun to watch than to participate in.

It was appropriate that Elizabeth (seen above in red) won the race in honor of her birthday!
Overall, it was a fun day (which turned into a fun night). Eden stayed up past her bedtime, but compensated by sleeping in the next morning. As perhaps our last decathlon in Indiana, it was a good one.
Here's Eden cooing her excitement at the celebration ...
