I want my MTV ...

To date, we have limited Eden's TV exposure to the occassional glimpse - for example, times that are uncontrollable such as eating out at a restaurant with more TVs than tables. Research indicates that prior to age 2, not only can children not fully process television images (i.e., there is no evidence that children learn from television at a very young age), but exposure to TV can negatively impact their ability to sustain attention (i.e., it has the potential to cause or at least exacerbate attention deficit disorder). So, we wanted Eden's first television experience to be meaningful ... what could be more meaningful than watching the 44th President take the oath of office?
So, that was Eden's first "real" television experience. Although she is likely not to remember it, we can at least say that she witnessed it ...

Apparently it was a fun experience ... she danced to Hail to the Chief, a catchy tune, indeed!
