A few Sunday's ago, Eden had visitors. When Ashley and I knew we were coming to LSU, I serendipitously found an email address on Purdue's website for Josh Detre ... an assistant professor at LSU. He had just recently graduated and moved to LSU. What a wonderful find! Someone with an inside scoop. Even better, he and his wife, Dana, have two young kids - Caden and Ella Grace.
They played and shared Eden's toys. Then the two girls watched Caden build garages and car washes for his matchbox car ... then destroyed them with one fist (see the blocks in the background by the chair?)
Fun was had by all. Ashley especially enjoyed it because it reminded her of Sunday, after-church lunches - hanging out with famaily and friends in fellowship. We hope to have many more of these gatherings in the future.
