i see you

At this moment, Graham and Eden are both taking a nap, and I'm enjoying the quiet for just a bit sitting on the couch. We've had a busy week (aren't they always?), and I spent all day yesterday tackling the final big project for Eden's room - painting her dresser and bedside tables. Anyhow, we're almost caught up with things around the house and will get to posting lots of stuff soon since we're a bit behind in that department.

Anyhow, the pic above is what seems to be Eden's new interest -- every time we get in the car she has to stand up in my lap and hold on to the front seat to peek through.

For the past week or so, her new favorite game at bed time is to sit in front of the window on her bed with the curtain covering her. Then, when you talk about not knowing where she is, she'll peek her head around the side moving the curtain out of the way and give you a huge smile. Then, it's back behind the curtain only to come out the other side. Of course, she has to repeat this a million times.

Yesterday, while she and Graham were at target, Eden started leaning back in the cart laughing then sitting up and looking at Graham as if to say, "Are you watching, me?" Then, she'd repeat the process.

I think we're definitely in the "Yes, I see you" phase now. Goodness it's fun.

p.s. Thanks to Aunt Whitney for taking such a cute photo!
