The weekend after we visited Jackson, Uncle Britton and Aunt Courtney were in New Orleans for a get-away weekend (ok, so Courtney had a conference to attend but they still enjoyed time in the city). Eden asked to go visit, so we drove her over. Actually, this was Eden's 2nd time at Cafe Du Monde ... but her first to see its sights and sounds.

If you've never been to Cafe Du Monde, it is absolutely packed all the time. Since it was a bit chilly outside, they had the siding up which made it extra loud. Eden did not seem to mind and was, perhaps, a little more entertained by the atmosphere.

After beignets and coffee, we had to walk it all off ... and take a few family photos.

To say the wind was blowing would be an understatement.

To get out of the cold, we went into the NO mall and walked around. Eden was the hit (as would be expected).

... because, as she says, it really represents the "love" of photos Britton and I have.

After our walk to the mall, it was time to say good-bye ...

... but not to worry because someone has a party coming up ...

Guess all the sights and sounds of New Orleans can make a little girl sleepy. Eden was out before we even made our way out of the French Quarter ... and stayed asleep all the way back to Baton Rouge. Nice.
