For most of the day, the peonies sat on the dining room table. Yes, there was a bit of an end-of-semester mess around, but this was honestly what I saw ..

Back on topic ...
The peonies did eventually find a more permanent home. How is it that a few flowers can make you so happy each time you see them?
Of course we had to spend some time outside ...
But the best part of the day happened when I went into Eden's room first thing in the morning to get her out of bed and she had a card waiting for me on the corner rail of her crib. She even "read" it to me as we sat on her big bed.
Graham won't reveal Eden's secrets (guess that is a good thing) and isn't telling how she was able to pick out such a perfect card. I think in this case it's fine. They make a pretty good team.
