Back to School

With summer coming to a skreeching halt, it's time for Eden to go back to "school." This year, she is in the Waddling Ducks - children with birthdays between February and July of 08. This year, she gets to eat all of her snacks and her lunch at a large table ... (Eden was hungry at the orientation meeting, so Ashley got a picture - and some attention since she was the only parent who had a camera out.)

In her room there is also a slide and several new toys (which Eden got to test drive on Thursday evening). When we were on our way to her classroom Eden first pointed and grunted toward her old classroom (guess she remebered). We went in to say hello, and she cried when we left (guess she missed Miss Marie and Miss Delores). However, as soon as we got to her new room she let out a yell that would curl your hair (in a good way). Then, she ran as fast as she could toward the slide. It was up the stairs and down the slide for a good 10 minutes. She was smiling the whole time. We hope that is a good sign of fun times to come.

Of course back to school means buying supplies. This year it was Huggies, a new bib, desitin, and a few pacifiers (which she uses when she naps), among other things (nap mat, clothes, etc.).

Last week we had some help getting ready to go back to school (Ashley and I had orientation this past week, and Eden did not have PDO). Eden's grandmommy came on Sunday and stayed through Wednesday.

My sister, Ashley, came on Wednesday and stayed through Friday.

Apparently, Eden stayed naked for her Aunt Ashley :)

We could not have made it last week without their help. Eden loved having her family with her {and so did we}!
