To give a toast ...
... to a good friend of mine, Jesse Whitfield, and his blushing bride-to-be, Megan Davis.

The friendship between the three individuals in the photo below - Thomas, me, and Jesse - started out as a way for Thomas and me to grab a ride to Mardi Gras. It was Mardi Gras season 1994. Thomas and I had arrived in Bienville Square via the Mommy Mobile. Who do we know who has a car and can get us downtown? There was a relatively new kid at school ... and Jesse had a car! Brilliant. Introduce ourselves. Insert comment about needing a ride. See if he bit. He did. The three of us were pretty much inseperable from that day until the day we graduated high school. Although, as many friendships go, we were never as close as we were back then, I think I speak for all of us when I write that if the call came, regardless of the need or the time, we'd come-a-runnin'. So, needless to say, it was quite fun to get back together (albeit for only a short time) and reminisce about the "good old days."
