CC's recent visit

On June 3rd, Eden's CC came for another visit. Ashley was in the throws of a major deadline, and I was scheduled to go out of town for my sister's graduation.

When I came back from New York, Eden begged to be entertained inside by reading ... she LOVES books (or at least the pictures and funny noises and voices that people make while reading). This particular reading was quite entertaining since Dad and CC tag-teamed a production of a story about how special is the name Eden.

When inside gets boring, going outside can help to calm her down. She especially likes watching the cars pass (in this photo she has apparently worn herself out - she moves her head back and forth as the cars pass ... quite exhausting!)

Another trick (to calm her down) is to let Granddaddy hold her.

Chip made the drive on Friday, June 13. In Indiana you can actually sit outside without perspiring so much that you have to shower and change clothes. That'll change very soon!

We certainly enjoyed CC's recent visit. We are especially looking forward to the fact that visits with family will become more frequent starting in August!
