Graham's "29th"

My 30th birthday was a day to relax with my family. It started around 2:30 a.m. - Eden's middle-of-the-night feeding - so technically Eden was the first to wish me Happy Birthday. We did get to go back to sleep and slept until 6:30 or so then lounged around until I opened my wondeful gift at 9. Thanks to EVERYONE who sent in a letter - could not have asked for a better gift ... except for my beautiful daughter. She almost fit in the box and certainly enjoyed playing "open Eden" for a little while.

We had fun during the morning hours playing, reading, smiling, and taking pictures. I suppose even birthdays change for the better. The last few pictures are a snapshot of Eden's last time to wear newborn clothes - indeed, she is growing fast!

One of my birthday wishes was for Ashley to be able to write most of the day - so she did, and I got to (selfishly) look after Eden. Although not pictured, the big finale was Chinese takeout (eggrolls, crab rangoon, sweet and sour chicken, vegetable fried rice) ... mmmmmmmm! Overall, a nice birthday!
