bathtime

The bathtime ritual has changed slightly. Just before we put her in the tub, she has to brush her teeth. We tried brushing them for her. That didn't fly. So, we let her do it. She only watched us a few times, but picked up on the fact that you have to wet the brush first, then scrub your teeth. It's quite an amusing thing to witness.

Lately, we've moved on to a new product since Eden screams when you try to help her brush her teeth. It's a teether with little brush bristles on both sides. Seems to be doing the trick for now.

After the bath, she gets wrapped in her warm Eden towel (yep, it has her name on it and is an Eden Baby product).

She always smiles big when she sees her Momma! And Ashley returns the sentiment. Then it's off to bed ...
Recently, after her bath she has fallen to sleep quite fast with very little milk (and, much to Ashley's pleasure a little cuddle time). She put herself on a new schedule (after we caught up to what she was trying to tell us at the dinner table) and drinks most of her bedtime milk with dinner (or just after). That's the way it's been with her, though. With everything she has been the boss of her schedule and changes in that schedule. From sleeping through the night to her bedtime to dinner to a nighttime bottle - Eden has pretty much told us what to do rather than the other way around. Think that is a sign of things to come?
