sweet, sweet baby girl

I'll preface this post by saying that I know I am a completely biased mommy who thinks her daughter is the cutest thing ever.

And, I'm probably jinxing myself by writing this :),

but I've got to put it down in our book anyway ... so here goes ....

Because of travelling again over the weekend, Eden slept in her bed on Friday night and wasn't back in her own bed again until tonight. On both nights, she was pretty awake while she had her bottle while cuddled up next to me in my arms. After drinking as much as she wanted, she took the bottle out of her mouth. Friday night, she looked up at me and started playing with my hair, followed by putting her hand in my mouth. When I quietly played like I was eating her hand, the giggles just kept coming. Tonight, after she was finished with her bottle, I asked her if she wanted any more. She shook her head no (for real, it seemed like that's what she was doing), and then opened her mouth wide when I asked if she wanted her paci.

On both nights, she was still pretty awake after she finished her bottle, took her paci back and laid back into my arm, but I thought I'd try putting her down anyway. So, with her snuggled in my arms, I got up from the bed to walk over to her crib and whispered my "good night" to her. It went something like this:

"K, Eden, it's time to go night-night and get in your bed. Momma and Daddy love you very much. See you in the morning. Love you." *kiss*

Then I put her down in her bed, started to close the side of her crib and looked down to see her look straight up at me and give me big wave goodbye before she watched me walk out of the room.

No kidding. Now if that's not the cutest thing you've ever heard, I just don't know what is ;).
