Recently, a friend of ours (David West) put himself on display ... well, at least figuratively. David was an MFA student in the art department at LSU. His master's thesis consisted of a show in a gallery in downtown Baton Rouge. It was a juxtoposition of digital and anologue technology and consisted of original prints and digital portraits.
Eden was quite impressed ...
So were we, of course. Both Ashley and I commented about the stress that must come with this type of graduate work. Although we poured ourselves into dissertations, ours was nothing like this - a true investment of self in one's work, on display for all to see.
