On Tuesday morning before our trip from Mobile to Jackson, we met up with the Gonzales family at the Exploreum.
The kids area had a large boat anchored in a sea of blue plastic balls. If you don't know, Eden LOVES balls ... to throw then, to eat them, to bounce them, to carry them around ...
She and Arthur (who is only one week younger than Eden) also found a slide just their size. Each would slide down then try to walk back up the slide to which we responded by showing them the stairs. They finally got the hang of it, with a little encouragement.
There was also a table of puzzles (with rather large pieces) ... and Charlotte was a good sport sharing with Eden when necessary.
And, while Ashley had hoped for a photo with both families, these two were the best we could get ...
Overall, it was a fun morning. Not only did we get to catch up with Arthur and Alison and our kids get to meet each other, but Eden also stayed awake another hour or so through lunch with her Nona and Aunt Sarah (which meant she was that much more likely to sleep the entire trip from Mobile to Jackson).
