US labor laws prohibit minors from working. That didn't stop Eden from pulling her weight around the house the other day. Ashley was doing laundry, and Eden was hanging out on her playmat. When Eden crawled over to the washing machine, Ashley figured, "Hey, why not?" and put the basket full of clean clothes in front of her. It's as if someone put a gallon of butter pecan ice cream in the frezer ... I mean who can resist? Eden got herself positioned and started pushing ... all the way to the den (which is some 30 or so feet).
Of course, the basket is heavy for a one-year-old, so she took breaks along the way.
I think Ashley has a helper-in-training. Now if only we could teach her to go to the grocery store ...

That is the most adorable thing I've seen in a while (well, barring the little girl at my house). She is unbelievable!
