eden.baby

At the end of September, Eden's pacifier clip broke, and Ashley wanted something soft to use in its place. She came up with this idea while I was shopping for an exercise heart-rate monitor for her dad and she was driving around the parking lot of Academy Sports trying to keep Eden asleep.

They should be on Etsy with her own edenbaby store soon (or, that's the intention - for those of you who know Ashley well it may be a while).

They are likely to come with a warning - Warning: Baby may REALLY start to LOVE the metal clip that clips the pacifier to her clothes more than the pacifier itself. At one point, while Eden could care less if you took away the pacifier she would SCREAM quite loudly if you took away the clip. So, we have decided that they are better newborn pacifier clips than they are clips for curious infants.

Eden also liked the ribbon more than the pacifier. So, over Thanksgiving, Ashley made Eden's ribbon toy - basically a bunch of ribbon sewn onto felt with an "E" on it. She LOVES it - studies it intently and chews on the ribbon as if it were going out of style.

The last item in the edenbaby line is the "tie-on tutu" from Eden's Halloween bumblebee costume complete with a ribbon closure.

In stores soon! Well, maybe soon. If you want something from the line, just get in touch with the designer.

[*Editor's Note: The last paci clip pictured was the first one I made. While it looks cute, moms and dads out there know it's not the safest design once a baby gets to being able to grab and chew on things. So, I changed the design and now I'm just making the all-felt, all-thread designs. Just thought some of you might want to know.]

Love them! You need some little boy ones too :) I love the fact they tie on to the binky...Bo will only take the binky he got from the hospital which is similar to the soothie and regular paci clips won't work. I actually found one on etsy for the soothie clips and it works great, but yours are much cuter!! Can't wait to see them!

I love them! Do you have any designs for a little boy because I need one for Will. We've been using the same one for way too long. By the way, did you sew those little flowers or buy them that way because they are adorable. As for Etsy...I'm addicted. I bought several Christmas presents from the site.
