When she is here, Eden mainly plays on a large down comforter in the front room. One of her favorite things to play with is plastic Gladware (go figure).
The shirt she has on is one of Ashley's favorite ... she could not resist buying it at Target the other day. Ashley says the shirt really makes Eden look like a "little girl" (as opposed to "a little baby").
On Wednesday, part of Ashley's Christmas present was a shopping trip with my mom and sister. While Sarah was at the dentist, Ashley and Nona went to Babies R Us to look for strollers. Eden really enjoyed being strolled around the backyard in Nona's new stroller.
The entire time Nonna was strolling Eden around, Lilly was right there to protect. When she heard another dog barking, Lilly ran to the fence, barked, then ran back to Eden and licked her toes. Eden seemed to especially enjoy the toe-licking.
Overall, it was an enjoyable trip - not only did Eden get a good visit, but Ashley and I got to relax after a very eventful semester. Eden cooperated by sleeping in a few mornings and taking long naps during the day.
Eden did miss her Aunt Ashley and hopes that next time she visits, Ashley will be able to come.
