Yesterday, Graham and I, at different times, each thought we might be feeling something a bit weird on Eden's gums. I had been fishing out a piece of paper from her mouth [really, I look at the camera screen for a second and she swipes a bite :)], and Graham had been wiping her mouth out (Eden's form of "brushing teeth") before bed.
Then, this afternoon, it was actually there.
Peeking through her lower gum just left of center was her first tooth!!
I told Graham we'd just have to post this without photos cause there was no way I'd be able to actually get a shot of the tooth since the little munchkin wants to eat EVERYTHING that gets near her mouth including your fingers. Graham said that excuse just wouldn't do. So, I tried ... ...
... um, she licked the lens.
Definitely cuter than actually getting a shot of the tooth.

that is hilarious! brad and i have been commenting lately on how mason refuses to smile for the camera -- he will be smiling and giggling for 5 minutes, until you get the camera out and then it's over. looks like we have more adventures to come (so far he hasn't drooled on the camera!)
