Every family has its traditions. Some go on vacations. Others eat pancakes on Saturday.
We don't have many family traditions, yet. One that we revived this year after a hiatus while we were at Purdue, however, was putting up the Christmas tree (with ornaments). It was Eden's first time to see a Christmas tree; she especially enjoys the lights.
Ashley's Granddaddy made these ornaments. He had a wood working shop in his back yard (Pop's Shop) and enjoyed making lots of things. My name was added on one to go alongside Ashley's ornament after we got married (I like to joke that it was weird that he made an ornament with the name "Graham" on it when I wasn't even in the picture yet).
Although Eden enjoys all the ornaments, her favorite is ... well, you should have known!

We put our tree up last night and took similar pictures. All those "firsts" are so fun! Have a truly special Christmas with your family.
