Recently, Eden has become fascinated with putting on and taking off accessories. We think it started at Joshua and Elizabeth's house when she figured out how good a lawn golf necklace looked on her.

So, it is no surprise that one of her favorite accessories these days is one of Ashley's necklaces. She walks around, puts it on, takes if off, laughs, puts it on Ashley or me, takes it off of us, and puts it back on her neck. That game sometimes lasts as long as 15 minutes!

Here she is wearing a Fable-Ever exclusive hat and her own outfit ...

... with her favorite bracelets, hand-me-downs Ashley inherited from her friend Suzy years ago ...

With the bracelets (and later, the ribbon), she puts them on her arm then lifts her arm and shakes the bracelets down to her shoulder. Once they are situated, she walks around with her arms in the air, or bent at the elbow, so that her accessories don't fall off.

Attesting to her intellect, she figured out that bracelets can also go on legs. Unfortunately, they don't stay on once upright and walking. The solution? Ashley put on Eden's cute pink John Deere boots [What, you don't own pink suede John Deere boots?! Guess your aunt isn't a vet] as bracelet stays ... maybe that's where E gets her ingenuity.

Ashley also thought she'd try out this rocker baby cap, and Eden actually kept it on! Ashley says Eden had a good laugh when she saw herself in the mirror, so we think that inspired the hat not being immediately removed.


Also last week, Eden discovered you can wear stuffed animals. She continually put Dot on and off like a necklace and walked around with her newest accessory.

Needless to say, Eden is really into exploring putting things on and off these days. I'm hoping her love of accessories does not turn into a love for expensive accessories. Hand-me-downs and homemade wonders should last for a while, right?
