crawling is for babies ...

... and we guess Eden's not a true baby anymore.

As we were sitting in the den before dinner tonight, Graham and I looked at eachother and realized Eden just isn't crawling at all anymore. It's up, down, "Can you take this to Momma for me?", and off she goes.

During our two-week trip, Eden got more and more confident in walking as the time went on. It was amazing to see her progress over the two weeks. Over the weekend, we remember seeing a few crawls once she plopped down, but from our first day back at home yesterday Eden just seemed done with the whole crawling thing.

Last night, our first night back at home, we watched in amazement (yes, we really did) as Eden walked back and forth between the couch and recliner when we'd ask her to "take this to Momma" or "take this to Daddy" as we went through two weeks of mail. She just went back and forth and back and forth like she'd always been running errands for us. It was too cute.

Though I'm not ready to stop calling her my baby (don't I get to reserve that right forever?), she's definitely not the same little girl who started out on our trip a few weeks ago.
