That night, it was time to celebrate the most recent successful prospectus defense ... congratulations again, Elizabeth!!!

All sorts of folks showed up for the party ... Elizabeth and Grace (one of the younger department babies) ...
... and Kari, one of Grace's most loyal fans ...
There were also many other friends who stopped by that unfortunately we didn't get photos of. Our friend Brenda even stopped by and she ended up giving birth to her first daughter the very next day!

On another note, yes, that is our sexy rental car!
Although the beginning of the night was calm, the celebration ended in good-ole Munzie style. We couldn't have asked for better hosts or better friends to spend so much time with. We really enjoyed our "down time" with the Munzes and being able to catch up after being away so long. Needless to say, we had a grand ol' time ... it was certainly a good way to end our trip.
